June 6, 2009: Bangalore: After a long and stressful year I had been to my native। I relaxed and came back after a few days to my work habitant. Actually I am silent in nature and hardly open to strangers. So I always have some novels and books with me to pass the time. On 31st may, 09 I caught the train, boarding from Berhampur to Bangalore. It is about 25 hour’s journey from Berhampur to Bangalore, means a whole day. I hugged my family and put my steps toward my allotted seat at 8.20 AM, morning. I was bit upset at that time and I found only three people including me in my eight seated home. I kept my luggage and started reading STAR DUST June edition, a wonderful blog from Raedita Tandan on Urvashi Sharma (Naqab Fame), then Lara Dutta’s love story by Manish Mishra, thirdly while completing the Affair story of Kalki (Dev D Fame, Chanda) by Raedita Tandan, my train had reached to Palasa Station at 9.05 AM.
At Palasa, I found my eight seated home filled and my neighbor eight seated home as well। In my neighbor eight seated berth, four had been kept by a family of two parents and four children. The elder was a son of age 10 years old and the youngest was of 4 years old. The children are always beautiful and sweet to me. Finally I got my partners till Bangalore. I started mixing with them. We ate ice-creams, cold drinks and also shared the food prepared by my Bou (Mother). The day was passed happily, till then we were about to Vijayawada.
At 9।30 PM we reached at Vijayawada. All people in the train filled their stomach. And when the train started moving towards the destination, they made themselves ready to get the sleep. But unfortunately, I am a late night sleeper and I can never sleep in noise. The children were already in a deep sleep in the middle seats. And the parents slept on the top seats. The lower seats were grabbed by senior citizens.
Time was in its peak, Train Ticket Inspector was in his duty। It was about 11 PM. I had no idea where we were. I heard a sound, as if someone grounded from the seat. I saw that was a BAG. Suddenly I found the Father woke up and came down. He placed the bag but did not place him. He sat on the lower seat uncomfortably and rubbed his hand on the children. So I thought to give him company and came down, we started talking. At that time I felt uneasy, as I am not aware of Telgu/Tamil. And he had the same problem in English and Hindi. After a few moments I came back and tried to get some sleep. I saw the father was rock steady. It was about to morning I felt someone adoring me and I emerged in that, finally got a sleep. He was there till the morning, in a fear his children might be fell down. I was eyeing on the father regularly. When it was eight O’ clock morning, I woke up. And saw a relax face of the Father. The children were still sleepy but others had opened their eyes.
On that night I saw a FATHER, caring for his children, selflessly. Due to lack of writing skill I could not express my all feelings. But in that night I saw a parent, a father, who was ready to sacrifice everything. I learned that day, what love is. Don’t give up your parents. They are the one who loves you heartily. Earn money, make amusement with girls but try to keep your parent happy. They are the one who never demand anything for their own. I call you for their happy and respect. Don’t ever let them down.
