Thank You God, You are always there for us.

God created animals, birds, reptiles, trees and divided into different races, like in animals Tiger race, Lion race, Elephant race and so on. He taught the quality of grouping, so all most all his creation never stay as individual, all loves to stay in group. His latest creation is Human Race, who has the sense and a power to change the universe. As like God human themselves divided into different religions like Christians, Islam and Hindu etc. All religions conduct different meetings at different instant of time at different places to reach at their belonging people, to solve their problems, to show them the right path, which has written in the spiritual books like Vedas, Koran and Bible. All religion always tries to keep their belongings on their sides. Again the religions divided into different casts and castes divided into sub casts. All have their rules, regulations and restriction, which brings a balance in human life. They can never dare to cross the limit, what has written in their following cast’s law book. Tough human race follows all rules and regulations to lead its life; it is called as a civilized race in the earth.

I belong to Hindu religion and Khandayat cast. Once during my college days we had a meeting in my region. My father was a member of the cast comity, so I got a chance to spoke on a topic in front of my caste people. I and my father had started early in the morning to the meeting, as he had to start the meeting. We reached at the place and he joined on the dies. I was getting bored over there as my speech was too late, that is on evening session. I had to spend there all the day. I roamed here and there; people were coming and giving speech on different topic. I found the listeners were very serious. Most of the listeners belong to aged group. My grouped people were less compared to the old. Ladies had the same ratio. Generally these kinds of meeting never be conducted in cities, because city people have no time and they knew about globalization, so always the caste representative choose a village for this kind of function, where they could get more gatherings. And that meeting was conducted in a village, which was near to my village. As you know, we Hindu have a spider of relations and specially the women; they are very showing of it. All men and youths they gave me smile as I greet them but when I went to the women part, many of them hugged me and robbed their hands from my top to bottoms, because I had been there after a long time. We were staying in a town. We talked all the emotional topics. Those things were continued till the lunch break. On lunch break I relieved and decided not to go any where, and be sited near to my father.

Lunch had completed, again the boring speech had started. I was sitting like a Kalapani prisoner. Those things were unbearable but I couldn’t go out because of all those women and men. I was upset and thinking some thing. I was trying to find my smile and pretending as I was happy. During those times a sweet but an aggressive voice came from the dies. I saw a girl was speaking about something. She had good contents and I tried to concentrate on her speech. I found she was telling some thing about empowerment of women. She had finished soon and while returning to her place, I ran to her and congratulate her for her wonderful speech. She knew me before. She thanked me and asked, ‘Are you Amit? Son of Mr. Nayak.’ I surprised and said, “yes, how would you know?”

‘Can’t you remember? I am Sunaina, I had been to your house many times.’ She said. (I was trying to recall her but couldn’t.)

‘Hey, by the by, what are you doing here?’ she added. I replied, ‘I am going to speak on youth in the evening session.’

‘Oh’ you became so big. How’s your life going on? What you do actually?’ she asked. “Life is pretty fine and I am doing my MBA in Berhampur University and it is my last year.” I replied.

‘Oh’ that’s great, we are in Berhampur only. Then we will have regular meet.’ She asked.

‘Off course; why not… ’ I added.

(We had exchanged our contact numbers, and did some other discussions. Meanwhile I heard my name from the dies. She wished me. I went to dies and started my speech. The speech was good, my father felt proud. People were talking about me as I spoke like my father. I returned to my seating place. I found Sunaina was still sitting there. She smiled and congratulates me for my speech. She said I was fantastic. I spoke leader. I thanked her and did our regular youth discussion. The meeting was over, my father called me and her father too. I said bye and joined to my father.)

After some days I got a call from a number, she was Sunaina. The fact was that I had not stored her number and forgotten her totally. Her call made her picture alive in me. I was in the university and she asked me for that days plan. I said nothing and added that after class I would be alone, actually to flirt her. She said she had two film tickets and invited me for the movie. I said okay. (First time in my life I got a chance to see a movie with a girl and that was also the night, how could I refuse?) I painted well as if I was going to see a bride and reached there in time. I found she was waiting for me at the outside of the cinema hall. We went inside very soon. I never like to miss the beginning and those advertisements as well. We easily found our seats and settled on that. (I am very fond of Hindi movies, I never focus on any one while watching movies. I love to be a part of that movie. I try to feel every situation of the movie. I try to hear all the dialogues very carefully, meanwhile if somebody disturbs me I never listen to him/her.) The interval came. I asked her for snacks, she joined me and we both went out to bring. On the way she said, ‘You are so much! You were in the movies as if you are playing a character.’ I said, ‘Yes, I am very fond of movies.’ We purchased some snacks and returned to the hall again. We completed the movie. That was too late about to 12 O’clock at night. She hopped on my bike and I dropped her at her home and returned to my campus.

I didn’t even call her after that night, after two days she called me. I asked her about that night whether she earned some scold from her parents or escaped. She said as she informed her parents before that she was going for a movie with her friend Nandita and informed Nandita too. I asked, ‘Why did you do so?’

She said, ‘I like your company, you are a simple guy. Not like other boys’

I asked, ‘What does it mean?’

She said, ‘This means… Do you have free times, so that we could meet at the coffee shop near by Gandhi road?’

I asked, ‘Yes… But…’ she said, ‘No but, fut just come there I am waiting.’ and disconnected the call.

I could know, she was giving me line. She had a crush on me, but… I was not ready then…

I went to that coffee shop, found her gorgeous in white dress. (Actually white is my favorite color.) She felt me as such that she has been waiting for me for a long time. She waved her hand and said Hi. I did the same. We went to the table, which was booked by her. We sat there and the waiter arrived with menu in hand. She took the menu and ordered, ‘Two burgers, one sandwich and two coffees.’ I poked my nose there and said, ‘No, I don’t drink coffee, for me a cold drink instead.’

She laughed at me and said, ‘You don’t drink coffee. Or trying to impress me?’

I swallowed in my spits and said, ‘No, I never take coffee or tea.’

(She looked at me in different way as if she would kill me right then.) She said, ‘Don’t talk rubbish, all management student drink and smoke as well.’

I said, ‘I am sorry, you are knocking at the wrong door. I am not one of them.’

“Oh’ impressed me.” She said and added, ‘Do you have any girl friend?’

I said, ‘I am not so fortunate, I don’t have any.’

She said, ‘Impressed me, you know how to speak with girls also.’

I added, ‘No, not really, I speak all the time like this.’

(The waiter has arrived and placed the order on the table) I started eating; she was just looking at me. While eating I never look here and there, I just eat at that time. We were finished. She said, ‘You are cute and adorable too.’

I said, ‘Thank you but you are looking pretty.’ She thanked me and we went for a walk up to her house. When we reached near to her home, she said, ‘Okay, wait for my call.’ Waved her hand and said bye then entered in her house. I waved too and returned.

In the night it was about 1 AM. I was watching India and West Indies cricket. My room mate came and gave me my phone by saying, ‘Dude, you have a call.’ I found that was Sunaina. I asked, ‘You are still awake?’ she said, ‘I have also no boy friends’ and disconnected the phone. I thought how stupid girl is this. After that we talked over phone twice or thrice a day. A week went by in this manner. On a Sunday she invited me to see a movie. I joined her in time. And we went inside to see the movie. As you know all about my movie craze. That was a family and soft romantic movie, “Vivah”. We watched the movie and after some time I found Sunaina were rubbing my palm softly. I thought why to miss the chance and I stretched my arm till the end of her chair. She placed her head on my arm. I felt the movie more spice and interesting then other days. She behaved me as if she knows me from a long back. The movie has finished and we both smiled by looking at each other. I dropped her at her place and she invited me to her house, but I refused her invitation by saying, ‘My friends are waiting, I will come some other day.’ She waved her hand in such a manner as if I was been for a long trip. Then as usual callings were started.

One day in a early morning, she called me and asked me to reach at her house and that was very urgent. Luckily that was Sunday. I went to her house and rang the calling bell. She opened the door. She was looking pretty that time; she had worn a white top and nothing else. I asked, ‘Where are your parents?’

She said, “They have been for a party. I am alone at home, so I called you.”

‘Oh’ great. Tell me what we will do?’ I asked. She said, ‘Just sit, I am coming with in a minute.’

I sat on the sofa. I was nervous. I thought I was in trouble. Soon she arrived with a glass of cold drink and gave that to me with a seducing smile. I felt as if that was my fourth night. I was totally scared, a question on my virginity! She took the glass from my hand and placed that on the table. She closed the door gently. I scared more. She asked me to come near to here, but I said, ‘no I am comfortable here.’ But she grabbed my hand and pulled me. I sat on the Bed. By that time I was totally sweating. She looked at me and washed my face by a skirt. She asked, ‘Why are you so nervous?’ I said, ‘I am not nervous.’

I took her book on the bed and asked, ‘Are you good at mechanical engineering?’ she answered, ‘Yes, I love to read mechanicals. But not now…’ saying that she plucked the book from my hand and placed where that was.

I saw her mobile and asked her about the features. She explained a little but then she said, ‘You know these, because you have the same one.’ I said, ‘Yeh!’

She again washed my face and came closer to me. During this some body knocked the door. I was a little relieved. She went to the door and spoke with some person and came back to me. Meanwhile I called to one of my friend and asked him to call me after five minutes. She came back to me and sat very closer than before. By holding my hands she asked, ‘what is your feelings about me? Do you love me as I do?’ I was supposed to say some thing, my friend called me as I planned before. I came a little distance from her and thanked to my friend. But he was unable to understand the situation. I said, ‘I will narrate the whole story, let me come to hostel first.’ I went near to Sunaina and said, ‘One of my friends is injured and been hospitalized in MKCG Medical. So I have to go.’ I ran from her and thanked God. He only rescued me from that suitation.

Very soon I applied for a New SIM and changed the contact number. I narrate the entire story to my room mate. After that I have not come in contact with Sunaina. In this way I saved my life. Thank You God, You are always there for us.

A Night with Naina

I finished my academic curriculum and planned to Bangalore for a job. I was unfortunate that I won’t have a single campus selection. I prepared my resume as a HR fresher and uploaded in all most all job sites. I shared a house with other three friends from my college. We were waiting for an interview call, some days we were fortunate and some days we were not. So in those periods we had a plan to visit all Bangalore. Before coming to this city, my father had suggested me some visiting places and also strictly guided me not to visit MG Road (Mahatma Gandhi Road) in the night time. (The matter of fact is that prostitutes are lining on the MG Road after the sun set and according to ‘Papa’ they knew the art of hypnotism and I might be hypnotized by them, so he wants to rescue me, as all father do.) I told all of my friends that lets purchase a Bangalore visiting guide and to follow that as well. We purchased a guide book.

From the next day we made a simple routine and waited till 12 O’clock for an interview call after that we moved out on Bangalore tour. Meanwhile on traveling, if we got any call from any organization then we scheduled that for the next day. In this regard we spent about eight to nine days. We had visited MG Road as well but those are on the day/ evening time. Once we had been to one of ours senior’s house, he asked, “Have you guys been to MG Road?” we nodded our heads and said yes. Then a rapid fire round had started…

Senior: What you saw there?

We: Nothing, that road is little bit busy and guys are fashionable there.

Seniors: At what time you guys been there?

We: Around 4 or 5 PM, afternoon.

Seniors: Oh’ that’s why… The real thing begins after that.

We: What! What real things?

Seniors: You can see the drunken girls roaming here and there at the night. You can find sexy girls with minis and if you follow the road opposite to Bangalore Central Market building after 7.30 or 8 O’clock, then you can find the prostitutes.

(We all in excitement, asked then… then, as we had never seen these things before in our life, because we belongs to a small town. These things were just like dream for us.)

Seniors: You can find bargaining of people. If they get a girl in convincing price, then they will take that girl for that night else they will go to the next door.

We: One from my friends asked, “Bhaiya” is it compulsory to take one if you have been there?

Seniors: No, not a compulsory. If rate suits you then only you go for a buy or else you can leave the place. One more thing in weekend amusements becomes doubled.

(And some more discussions… and after sometimes we left the place)

On the next night we planned to go to the MG Road. We reached there by six and roamed here and there on the Brigade (A part of MG Road, where Bars and Pubs are there.) and saw all things were right. We enjoyed the evening, when it was about to 8 O’clock, one from my friends asked us for the Road, near by Central. We had never seen prostitutes before. We all were very much ambitious to see the prostitutes. How are they looking like etc. we reached the place by 8.30 and saw them from a distance, because we had a fear. And at 10 O’clock we returned to home. The whole night we discussed about those prostitutes and their customers. How they were bargaining etc. one of my friend said, ‘I will go near to them tomorrow and see them clearly how they look like.’ We all convinced.

On next day, we went to the prostitute place. We were well dressed and scented as well. We began to stare at the prostitutes from top to bottoms and from one and to another end of road. While passing them, I had a very drastic time in my life. Their attitudes, bad words etc. those were unbearable. Anyhow we completed the marching and saw the platoon. I forced them to return home but they had not finished then. One of them planned to bargain with a prostitute, and all agreed except me. But I couldn’t leave them alone so I also followed. They stopped at one place. Two of us stayed a little distance, means near to the auto and behaving as if we were bargaining to the auto and other two went to that prostitute.

A prostitute near to the selected prostitute said to our selected prostitute, “Ae Anjali tere chikne log aagaye.” (She conveyed to our selected prostitute that she got the customer.)

We: We are four, but two of us will do with you and for whole night. What is your rate?

Prostitude: Are you sure, they won’t do with me. Or else I’ll call one of my friends. Then we two and you four will do whole night.

We: No, No… We require only one for two of us.

Prostitute: Look sir, only two means two; there would be no “Jabardasti”. Mind it.

We: Yes, we promise. Tell your cost.

Prostitute: Eight Thousand.

We: What! (All shocked!)

Prostitute: What happened sir, I think you are students so I said very less price otherwise my rate would be more than 12K for a night.

We: Look we can’t afford more than 1500.

Prostitute: (Kahan se aajate hain sale…) Look sir, six thousand is final. Interested then let’s go or else find the next door.

(I was chocked at that time. I said my friend, ‘you stay here and enjoy the scenario I am going, I can’t tolerate. I am waiting for you at the end.’ And I left the place. They were in bargaining. While on the road, I found a beautiful girl, stepped down from a car and stood in the line. She was not looking like a prostitute, but … She was so beautiful, I fall in love with that girl in first meet.)

I stopped there and went to the girl, and she was absent minded. She asked the driver to park the car. And the driver did as per the order. When I asked, “Excuse me!”

She made a step back, with a nervous voice and replied by clearing her throat, “Yes”

I said, “You…” sudden she replied, “I am here for this job. Can’t you see them; I am one of like them.”

I said, “But…” she didn’t allow me to say any word and said, “oh’ Mr. if you are interested then talk otherwise go on your path.”

I asked, “No, I mean to say… what’s your …” she didn’t let me finish my sentence and said, “500/- not less a single penny.”

(I thought she was not a prostitute and thanked to God that he maid me her first customer, otherwise she would have spoiled.) I nodded my head and asked her to wait. I straight went to my friend and borrowed five hundred rupees from him. I asked them to meet me at home and ran back to that girl. Till that time my friends were continuing their bargaining with another prostitute. I paid her five hundred rupees. And asked her to come but she said she had car and asked the driver to bring the car. The driver denied, he said her father will come soon to that road. She scolded that driver and asked me where to go. I hired an auto and took her to my senior brother’s room. They were out of station for few days on company’s project. Luckily the key was with me.

We both entered in my brother’s room. I asked her to sit on the chair and switched on the TV. I came with two glass of water and sat in front of her. She drunk the water and asked me, “Shall we start!” I felt sorry but with a hope I said, “We have all the night to do. Let’s talk for a while.” She said okay and introduced her self, ‘Hi, I am Naina.’ And I said, “Hi I am Ajit. Are you new to Bangalore?”

‘No, I am a Bangalorian’ she replied.

The time was 9.30 PM, I asked her for dinner and she said yes. We visited to the restaurant near by. I had only hundred rupees and some coins in my pocket. She ordered her dish and I managed with Roti and sabjee. We finished the dinner and bill was Rs. 105/- and luckily I had that. I had twenty rupees more in my back pant pocket. She asked me for Juice and I convinced her in lime soda juice. I purchased a soda bottle and returned to home.

I asked her to sit for two minutes and switched on the TV. She started changing channels meanwhile I prepared the lemon juice. She finished the lemon juice and asked, ‘Shall we start now?’ I replied, “yes of course. But I don’t know, what to do and how… (With a shy voice.) It is my first time. Lets do some gossips and then we will start, is it okay for you?”

She replied, “Yes. And asked me where you from?”

I said, “Berhampur, Orissa.”

She asked, “How long have you been in Bangalore?”

I said, “About fifteen days”

She said, ‘You came here for job?’

I said, ‘Yes.’

She asked, “What your father does?”

I said, “He is a lecturer.”

She asked, “Tell me some thing about your family?”

I said her about my father, mother, Brother and sister. By that time I noticed she had forgotten every thing and behaving me as her friend. I narrate my college stories every thing. She started laughing.

She asked, ‘Do you bring girls home at the night?’

I said, “No never, why?”

She asked, ‘Then why have you been there?’

I narrate the entire story. And asked her, ‘I know you are not that kind of girl, but…’

She said, ‘Actually, I am in love with a boy. He is my classmate. He proposed me on last valentine day and for two months every thing has gone fine. After two months we had an Industrial tour and we have been to UK, there he tried to keep physical relation with me and I denied. Have I done some thing wrong?’

I said, “No you were absolutely correct. Then…”

‘Then he became upset and blamed me that I won’t love him as much as he does. I tried to make him understand but he didn’t. Is there my fault?’ she asked

I said, ‘No, then…’

‘Then next day he came to me and apologizes for his doings. I thought he has changed. Then we traveled a lot in UK. And returned to India after two weeks’ She said.

I said, ‘Okay… then’

‘Then what! He started keeping a divine relationship with me and I took him to my parents and they all agreed on my choice’ she said.

I said, ‘then what…’

She said, ‘Yesterday I had been to his home and found a girl from his room. If he can do this with me then I can also do. Please do with me.’

I said, ‘Hold on… Hold on… what has he done with you? You are as before you were. So please think once, I can’t do it with you. Just relax and think that you escaped from a bad guy. You should be proud of yourself.’ Then I took her mobile and dialed to her father. Said her, ‘Excuse me!’ and went to out by switching on the TV.

The phone was ringing. “Hello, Bete where are you? I am so worried. What happened?” Too many questions as normal father do. I replied, ‘Hello.’ He became tensed and said, ‘who are you? Look; don’t do any thing with my daughter. I am bagging of you.’ I found a tensed father as like the normal father. I said, ‘Uncle, I am Ajit. I have not done any thing with your girl nor am I going to do.’ And gave him my Brother’s home address and asked him to come to the place. Then I returned to her and we started our conversation. Meanwhile, she felt sleepy and slept on the chair. I place a pillow at a proper place. Switched off the TV and went out by locking the door.

Soon I found a car at the boundary. The driver came out and started talking with the watch man. I ran down and asked, ‘are you Raina’s driver?’ suddenly her father came out and shacked hand with me and asked, “Ajit. Hi I am Raina’s father.” I could mark him so worried as if he lost a valuable thing in his life. I greeted him and said Naina was a sleep. I narrated him the story, why we were at MG Road. During this discussion, we already had reached to my brother’s floor. I had arranged some chairs at the balcony to clear him that his daughter had not lost anything.

I offered him coffee and said, ‘Uncle, after that bargaining situation, I found odd there so I left that place. On the road I found Naina was stepping down from the car and joined in the line of prostitute. I guessed her and clicked on the target that she was not among them. I brought her to my home and tried to know the situation and made her comfortable. We had dinner together. Now she is a sleep.’ I told him the story as well, why Naina was there. He thanked me and paid me eight hundred rupees, which I served on her daughter. We both took Naina genteelly and they both hopped in the car. Naina’s father thanked me again and they left for their house.

After two days my senior brothers rang me and said, ‘A girl named Naina has come to meet you. Come soon.’ I ran to their house and met with Naina. She was looking as pretty as before. She hugged me in front of my entire senior brothers, I felt shy. I smiled; she thanked me and asked me for an evening walk. Then we were off from that place.

Band Widhth Leakier

Prakash is one of my good friends, working as Assistant Manager in Union Bank of India. He had some training in Bangalore, so he stayed with me for three days after his training at Bennarghatta, a heavenly place, I would never forget. Meanwhile his staying he asked me, “how can any one see the porn movies online?” He explained his manager usually does the same job at the office and then I narrate him the same story, which I am going to tell you.

Once in my office, the system admin chief found the server is not running as fast as the expected bandwidth in Bangalore region. He had suspected some leakage or misuse of the bandwidth. So he came down all the way from Delhi to Bangalore, to check the problem. He encountered the issue and found that due to some unnecessary sites, the issue has occurred. Those all sites belonged to porn sites. He was confused, as it had shown many systems not in a particular one. To fix the bug (Problem), he called a meeting with our most eligible Network Engineering expert, Kanhu Charan. In the meeting he explained all the issues and asked Mr. Kanhu to help. Kanhu said, ‘’How can I help you, Sir? Even I don’t know who the culprit is?”

Mr. Chief said, “no matter to know the culprit, could you write a program where the user would be known by its log in ID not by the computer IP address.”

Kanhu said, ‘It is not a dam difficult task, let me give eight to nine hour I will fix the issue.’ Then the meeting was over.

During the lunch session Mr. Kanhu asked me, ‘Ashish, are you accessing other sites which are out of our code and conduct?’ I replied, “Why?”

He asked, “No, just to check!” (I marked something hidden and asked him to explain all the matter.)

He said, ‘have you seen a person came from Delhi?’

“Yes” I replied.

He asked, ‘can you guess why he is for here?’

“How would I know?” I said.

‘To check our internet band width, he is our system admin chief’ he said.

“Oho” I replied and shocked very much.

He could guess my unusual expression at my face and asked, ‘have you done something wrong?’

“No” I replied. “Achha, tell me some thing more” I asked.

‘Due to some unnecessary sites our bandwidth has slow down, it is a very long term process. Our company has been paying for the hi-speed internet but due those useless download, we are getting the speed a little slower.’ He answered.

“Hey man, actually I often listen to the music and sometimes download also. That would be making some harm, they would fire me.” I said in tension.

‘Na, nothing like that, even I am listen to the music often, that gives you energy and won’t make any obstacle in your target’ he said in handiness manner.

“You too do the same, no you are giving consolation.” I said in haphazard manner.

‘How can I explain, not for you? Actually don’t tell any one, few of from our staff are watching and downloading the porn movies, which makes the internet slower.’ Finally he vomited the truth and made me relax. Even in very confident manner I cross examined him, “How did you know all these things?”

‘In the morning Mr. Chief had a meeting with our managers and he asked them to suggest the best Network Engineer in our campus and most of the managers suggested my name. So I had a meeting with Mr. Chief in the early morning.’ He said.

“Then” I asked.

(Actually he knows me better and I have the faith on him. He never hides any thing from me. If you say I am the open book to read his secretes and vice-versa.)

‘Now, Mr. Chief has asked me to write a program, where server can show the user’s name instead of the IP address, so that they would be able to catch the band width leakier.’ He said and asked, ‘Can you guess any one from our office, who is doing this?’

“No” I said and joked, “shall we spread the news, in whole campus that BE ALERT! There is a band width leakier and Mr. Police has arrived with his team to catch the victim.” (We both laughed, mean while we were finished with our Lunch. We returned to the work station to do our recommended tasks.)

Kanhu had fixed the problem with in some hour and went to Mr. Chief. He asked Kanhu to fix the bug in the server. And he did what he asked. Then Mr. Chief had returned to Delhi on the next day. We were surprised, that no action had been taken. The band width was same as before. After fifteen days Mr. Chief came to Bangalore again. This time not Kanhu, he had a meeting with our office Admin, Mr. Suresh. But Suresh was upset after the meeting. We were at our desk; he came to us and said Kanhu that “At least you would have informed me.” We didn’t understand him and asked, “What!” Then we three went to the cafeteria. I am explaining down, what he had said to us.

He said, “I was using different people’s system to see the porn movies. As the IP address had been displayed there in the server I used to follow this trick. But when Mr. Chief had come here last time, he had not mentioned these things to us. He simply asked for our best Network engineer, so we had suggested your name. You should have mentioned us about these. In the meeting Mr. Chief scolded me badly and shown my all dark doings. He judged me as a culprit as I have broken the code of ethics. This is my termination letter; he had come along with him from all the way, Delhi. Now I lost my job. Probably this is my last minute with you. All my settlements have already done. Before going to home I thought to meet you once.” Then he left the organization. We felt sorry on that day. We couldn’t work even, took half day leave and came back to home.

I said Prakash not to these things in the office, as they are out of rules. Always follow the rules made for you, so that we can dream for a bright and shining India. Prakash thanked to me and said he will never do those things which will hamper his professional life and personal as well.

Cheers for our Bright Future.

It was the time, when we were fresher. We all completed our master degree in business administration. I and my friend Mithun came to Bangalore in search of job. Meanwhile in Bangalore my other four friends were in waiting, three of them had completed their MBA and another B. Tech. We two had joined them as their room mates. They all are my college (+2) mates. Binayak, Sunil and Manoj had completed MBA from Bangalore IIPM, Reva Management College and Bangalore University orderly. During their time they had no campus recruitment, so they were unemployed. They lived together in a one BHK. Samir had completed his B.Tech from NIST, Berhampur and staying with his family at Bangalore. We joined them and became six in the house. That house was a little congested for six of us but we were job hunters at that time. We could never afford a flat by that time.

We were five MBAs and a B.Tech fresher. Looking out for job very seriously. We were very much eager to start our professional career. Most of the time we were together. Some time we had been out here and there to release the stress. We were looking at people, enjoying their lives in various ways at different places. But by that time we had simply watched them and thought about the futures. All my friends are more or less alcoholic in nature. In the college day they had regular drink parties. But by that time they were undergone in a resolution that, ‘We won’t drink until and unless one of us get a job. We will do a party after each one’s successes.’ That was very pathetic time for them, as they were restricted to touch their most adorable thing.

Time went by, after a month I got an offer letter. My joining was on 21st November 2007 in Denave India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore as a HR Executive. I became very happy and shared my feelings with my friends. By that time they were dying for the party. They said they need a huge celebration as that was our first successes. Soon they rushed to the Oasys market complex and purchased four litters of Ardbeg whiskey, 8 kingfisher beer bottles, and snacks for drink, cigarettes and chicken. From the afternoon they had started cooking & preparations. Binayak cooked the chicken so tasty, I can never forget in my life time. At six o’clock evening we sat together. Sunil made pegs for us, as I am non-alcoholic so for me it was soft drink. Sameer asked Binayak for chicken kassa, lemon and onion to taste as snacks. Every thing was ready, they were very thirsty to drink the alcohol but Mithun had to come. He had been out to bring the curd for raita.

Now every thing has ready, Mithun joined and we cheered. Mithun said, “Cheerers for our better future.” And we followed the same word and started drinking. Soon those five were lost their sense and vomited all the emotional truths. One was supporting to other, I was enjoying the scene by sitting on the chair as I had to play the music for them, because I was the DJ for them. I was directed to play all senty songs and I followed their orders. Soon the evening turned to night and I forced them to eat some Paranthas and chicken curry. They looked at me and for my shake they had one parantha each. After the dinner they had started again. I had already cleaned the floor before they had their last peg. I floored mats and beds on them, asked them to sleep. We all slept on the hall. They were continuing their emotional discussion but that was very late so I slept.

In between their discussion one of them had been to the kitchen for water and came back with half closed tap. There was continues of water flow for the whole night. In the late night I felt my bed wet. I thought some one vomited, so I switched on the light. What I saw, the whole kitchen was filled with water and after the kitchen water had covered us at hall, completely. I shouted but they were senseless. I called all of them but no one gave a reaction. They had no idea that they were sleeping on the water. We had some extra mats for the guests; I floored them in the bed room, luckily that was not attacked by the devil water. I removed their clothes, made them dress less and dragged them to the bed room one by one. After placed them in a dry place I tried to make a way the water out. The night was completed and day arrived, I was not done yet. After some time I dried up the kitchen and the hall. As that was 8 o’clock morning, I prepared breakfast for them and I had mine. I started to the office for my first day at 9.30 AM. And joined the office and started my professional career.

All my friends got up in afternoon and shocked by seeing them nude. They phoned me and I explained every thing. We laughed; they threw those sunken beds, which I had kept near to the dustbin. In the evening they purchased beds and I purchased beers. In the evening we again cheered for our bright future. Soon they were also engaged in different company. Now Sameer and I are in Bangalore. We are hanging out together in every weekend at my venue. Sunil is in Baroda, speaks over phone. Manoj is in Pune. Binayak is in Delhi and Mithun is in Mumbai. Today also whenever someone drinks, he brings all of us in conference and says, ‘Cheerers for our bright future.’

She is still alive in my eyes

Two years ago, I was in Baroda, searching for a better future. Now also I am doing the same. But things are different now days. There I was completely new. First time in my life I had been to a beautiful city. Earlier I was in villages, Notified areas and towns but in the city first time. Yes I had been to Solapur, pune, Mumbai, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Goa, but there I was with my group. Some places during my industrial tour and some places during my NCC days. But there I was a free bird, staying with my Aunt. My aunt is a teacher and my uncle is in Indian Air Force and they have a cute daughter, who is about nine years old now. On those days I was alone at the home, with a little pressure of unemployment.

My uncle always left his motor cycle for me and he used to go by cycle. My aunt cooked good foods for me. I used to get one interview call on every two days. I have cleared my interviews and failed also. Some where I didn’t like their police & culture and some where they didn’t. After few days I got the job in Vcan Technology but I left that with in three working days, because I could not settled with the company’s culture and my profile as well.

Few days after I got a call from Frankfinn Institute for Management Trainee. I went there and saw the front desk operator, Miss Bhawana Alhuwalia. Beautiful eyes, glowing skin, pinkies lips, black hair and good figure. You can say a complete package of beauty. I went there and …

Me: “Good Morning”
Bhawana: “Very good morning, sir. May I help you?” (What a sweet voice! I had gone mad there.) But patiently I asked…
Me: “I am Ashish, came for the interview.”
Bhawana: “sir, may I have your call letter along with your CV.” (What has happened to me! Why I have never seen her before! Why God has created such a dynamite and breathless personalities! If God would be in the earth then he would have fall in love with this girl.) I was just staring at her with a pleasant smile.
Me: Sure. “Sir, fill the form and wait for my call.” She said. (I didn’t want to leave that place but I have to.) I sat on the sofa, where I asked to sit, and I dreamt a lot about her. A sweet voice broke my dream, “Mr. Ashish, you can go in.”
(Why she said me to go in? I don’t to attend the interview. But I can’t stay there. So I decided to do the job there.) I went in but my mind was at the front desk. Thinking about the Dream girl.

The interview has done. I got selected for the post, I have applied. The interviewer asked my opinion to join the organization and I said, “From tomorrow.” She typed my offer letter and appointment letter. I came out and shacked hand with Bhawana and with no interest I returned to home. I purchased some new clothes, shoes and perfumes with my uncle.

On the next day, I went earlier means at 9 O’clock. That is my joining day. My boss was absent on that day. I reported to my trainer, a beautiful lady, but not beautiful than Bhawana. I have waited for her till the lunch break. During this time I grew up my friendship with the admin, Hitesh Bhai. We went for lunch together, there I asked him about Bhawana. He said she was on leave that day. A pathetic day for me. Anyhow I managed the day and returned home in the evening. On the next day, when I entered into the office I saw at the front desk and I relived. I signed on the register book and with out saying any thing I went to my work station. After few minutes, my boss with Bhawana came to me and made both introduced. She asked Bhawana to introduce me with other employs. I thanked my boss; at least unknowingly she understood me and my feelings. On that day we shared a lot time together.

Next day when I came to office, the guard said today is off.
I asked, “Why?” “for the next four days it is off because of Diwali.” I had no interest in Diwali, I was dreaming about that girl only. I said, “Thanks” and with a great upset I returned to home. I spent four restless days, when I came early to office on the other day; found every body was in informal. Actually we had a party, a get to gather meeting. So my boss came and called off the work and expected us to meet at the Suryansh Hotel at afternoon. We all went to home. I dressed well and before time I reached at the venue.

My entire colleague had been with their partners or relatives. We shared light jokes with each other. Bhawana entered into the party with some one. She was looking more beautiful than an angel. I wanted to share some moments with her but she had a guardian. Still I went there and introduced my self; soon my boss asked every one on the floor for dance. I asked Bhawana, she danced with me, I felt like a king. No no not king, more than a king.

The session was over and everybody joined in the cocktail party, where each one has to go to the stage and tell some thing new about him/her. People went and spoke about them but my interest was Bhawana. Finally she went to the stage, I was dreaming. Said she is going to marry soon and that man was her would be husband. I was shocked and choked. I felt very upset and speechless. I didn’t even go to the stage. My colleague called my name several time but I was starting to off. I left the party with out saying anything to any one. On the next day I didn’t even go to the office. I got a call from my Boss on that evening, and I said I left the job.

After few days I left Baroda and came to Bangalore. But I can never forget Bhawana. She is still alive in my eyes.

Jaane de na Yaar...

India is a developing nation. Thing are changing too fast. Communication problems have almost been solved. IT centers, Malls, Service centers are every where. Village is turning into towns and towns are cities and cities are into metros. It has a rich culture. In ancient time India was called as a country of countryside or villages, means today also called as country of villages. The literacy ratio is growing as like the economy of India. People are getting aware of the things but it’s their nature and that is adjustment or Jaanede yaar….

We are so called a country of poor people and the country’s economy is based on the income of an individual. Our Govt. declares lots of people are comes under bellow poverty line and it is true but not fully. I regularly visit to my brother at Chennai. I earned a wealthy friendship with his friend circle. Chennai is famous for its climate i.e. hot… hotter… hottest. But every time I was fortunate and never felt the situation. And few time I felt like the climate of Bangalore. Oh’ we are talking about the Chennai and BPL people. I, my brother and his friends always were to any of the famous on my arrival. So we visited Kanchi puram, a famous place for various Hindu temples. Puddicherry is a beautiful place for holiday and wine. Mahabaleswaram have a very old and beautiful sun temple on the Sea beach. And many more places are there around Chennai. And in Chennai we pass our time in Marina Beach and Shatyam/Geega Movie Theater. One day in the evening we were resting at Marina. As you know, the beach side is full of various local stores. We visited into the lane and stopped at the Panipuri Stall. As you know kya taste hai yaar. I asked my brother to have few and he joined but he doesn’t like these at all. He is very sweet. With his company I ate around six plates and he only one. So per plate Rs. 7/- it was 49/- and we gave him a 50/- note and we started walking out. ThatPanipuri boy came to return us the left money. We said keep with him and start conversation with that boy.

Me: Yaar, old are you? “Twenty” he said.

“So what classes were you studied?”, I asked. “Sixth” he replied.

“and you are here with your family or they are some where else?”, my brother asked. “No here I am with my friends and my family is at Jharkhand”, he said.

“Why don’t you do another job which will make you more money?”, I asked. “Sir jee, we dressed like a poor person to gain the sympathy and my income is three times of yours.”

“So where do you keep this money and why don’t you open a restaurant?” my brother asked. “Ab kya bataoon sir je. We are Unpadhs (illiterates) who will check the account, going bank, its very difficult. And after that Tax ka chhakarr, better Jaane do yaar… Life is going, money is coming and we are enjoying. Who is going to earn the suffering from Govt. Aaye toh batao hum BPL hain.

We both stared at him, is this poor India? Every body loves to say Jaane do yaar, who is going to suffer in the norms of Govt. This is a country of adjustment; Govt. has already been adjusted since last seventy years.

Once I had been to Mumbai, during my earlier time of job. Mumbai a great city, people are very loving. They have no time for others but they are taking care of each other. If you are walking on the road then you have to run otherwise the mumbaiyas will push you till the end. In local train also same kind of situation, you no need to getting up or getting down from the train. The Mumbaiyas will do these things on your behalf. You just be there at the right time on the right side. Else it would be very difficult to find your self in that city. Yes I mean to say Mumbai is very crowdy and very fast. A local train has the capacity of 500 to 700 people in a trip but it has been adjusted with 5000-7000. No people are waiting for the next one all said, jaane do yaar we will adjust.

Mumbai has beautiful places to visit. India gate, hanging park, Nariwan Point, Juhu chopati, film city, Laxmi temple in side the sea, Khandala etc. once I had been to the Laxmi temple with my friend and afraid to see the baggers. They are so realistic and difficult to see. We dropped some coins and walked few step away. While coming down I saw the baggers are looking like normal people and also marinating cell phones. When I asked my friend, he said me, “aare sab natak hai yaar, they have four wheelers, flats, bank accounts but still they are doing this. Do you know why? He asked.

Why I asked. Aare yaar its their Business. Jaanede Hota hai… Adjust aur digest karle.

So we are called as poor country where a panipuri wala maintains a cool life like a Software professional and baggers are living like a king size life. Still we are adjusting and digesting the things. It is India, where people are not aware, what are they doing? To save some money they are not asking for the bills, to save tax they are not showing their proper wealth. One more case I have to tell you,

Once I had been to one of my friend’s house. He is a bachelor and staying next to my lane. That was a Saturday night and we were in celebration mood. Rum, beer, wines were flowing every where. My friend cooked the food and I helped him as I am a non-alcoholic. When time asked us for foods, they are floored. We started eating, as all were drunk, they were not aware of the taste. Only I and my friend, who cooked, were in sense. I tasted the food and that was disgusting. I asked my friend, what is this? He said sorry yaar there was no salt so I put sugar instead. But my drunken friends are advising me, Jaane de na yaar, adjust karle. Ek din kit oh baat hai. And obeyed then and adjusted.

This is the situation of India, where we are dreaming for a Developed India, but we have not left the mindset of adjustment and jaane de na yaar. If such things continues then jaane de na yaar…

Mother India

Mother and emotions are very natural. A face that every animal being is dying to see. The natural fountain of blessings that every animal being get automatically. Every one feels secure in her lap. Under her skirt all gets heavenly feelings and fearless environment. She is a Mother. Who can never see her children in worry. She can never keep her children hungry. She can never leave her children uncomfortable. She can go to any extent to see her children happy and smiling. And India, a country of emotion, adjustment, love etc. Here the mother is very special.

Once I had been to Bhubaneswar (capital of Orissa, India.) for my sister's Medicare purpose. Actually she is my cuisine sister. For last six months she is being under Medicare. She had suffered from medicine infection. My poor sister earned some new unwanted spots on her face and problem with eyes and nose as well. On that day me, Bada Baba and my both cuisine siblings had been to Bhubaneswar L..V.Prasad eye hospital. There we consulted to a reputed doctor and planned to return to my home town. I stay in Berhampur, near about 170 KM from Bhubaneswar. My cuisine sister had never traveled by train before. So for her adventure we decided to return by train.

It was 15 hour. A single train was there to Berhampur. If we would miss that we would have wait for next 5 to 6 hours and that would be terrible. So we decided to catch that train. The source was Bhubaneswar and Destination was Mumbai. That Konark Express. And from Bhubaneswar to berhampur it is 2 and 1/2 hours journey. We both brother went to the ticket counter and collected the same. We went to the platform and the train was waiting for us. We had general ticket and you better knew about the general class travelers. There were eight general boiges and all are packed with passengers and luggages. But my brother is a JUGADU BANDA. He arranged four seats for us. Before the train starts a widow and two children stepped inside the train.

The widow was uncomfortable in the rush. My sister went little aside and offered her a seat to sit. They managed anyhow in a single seat. She had two children of age 4 and 1 respectively. While seating also she felt uncomfortable and decided not to sit. She stood up and found some thing from her bag. She came out with two old saris. Tide two end of sari at the two opposite end of the seats and made a Swing/ JHULA. She replaced her young child inside the sari swing and made another one at the other terminal for her second child. She felt a little relaxed and went near to my sister and sat down on her seat. She regularly swung the both JHULAS. She fed them some cookies and milk. The children were gone to the dream village and there I found a pleasant face of mother.

After some time we reached at Berhampur station. We greeted each other and stepped down from the train. There I found a mother. Always beautiful, always fresh for a child

A Father

June 6, 2009: Bangalore: After a long and stressful year I had been to my native I relaxed and came back after a few days to my work habitant. Actually I am silent in nature and hardly open to strangers. So I always have some novels and books with me to pass the time. On 31st may, 09 I caught the train, boarding from Berhampur to Bangalore. It is about 25 hour’s journey from Berhampur to Bangalore, means a whole day. I hugged my family and put my steps toward my allotted seat at 8.20 AM, morning. I was bit upset at that time and I found only three people including me in my eight seated home. I kept my luggage and started reading STAR DUST June edition, a wonderful blog from Raedita Tandan on Urvashi Sharma (Naqab Fame), then Lara Dutta’s love story by Manish Mishra, thirdly while completing the Affair story of Kalki (Dev D Fame, Chanda) by Raedita Tandan, my train had reached to Palasa Station at 9.05 AM.

At Palasa, I found my eight seated home filled and my neighbor eight seated home as well In my neighbor eight seated berth, four had been kept by a family of two parents and four children. The elder was a son of age 10 years old and the youngest was of 4 years old. The children are always beautiful and sweet to me. Finally I got my partners till Bangalore. I started mixing with them. We ate ice-creams, cold drinks and also shared the food prepared by my Bou (Mother). The day was passed happily, till then we were about to Vijayawada.

At 930 PM we reached at Vijayawada. All people in the train filled their stomach. And when the train started moving towards the destination, they made themselves ready to get the sleep. But unfortunately, I am a late night sleeper and I can never sleep in noise. The children were already in a deep sleep in the middle seats. And the parents slept on the top seats. The lower seats were grabbed by senior citizens.

Time was in its peak, Train Ticket Inspector was in his duty It was about 11 PM. I had no idea where we were. I heard a sound, as if someone grounded from the seat. I saw that was a BAG. Suddenly I found the Father woke up and came down. He placed the bag but did not place him. He sat on the lower seat uncomfortably and rubbed his hand on the children. So I thought to give him company and came down, we started talking. At that time I felt uneasy, as I am not aware of Telgu/Tamil. And he had the same problem in English and Hindi. After a few moments I came back and tried to get some sleep. I saw the father was rock steady. It was about to morning I felt someone adoring me and I emerged in that, finally got a sleep. He was there till the morning, in a fear his children might be fell down. I was eyeing on the father regularly. When it was eight O’ clock morning, I woke up. And saw a relax face of the Father. The children were still sleepy but others had opened their eyes.

On that night I saw a FATHER, caring for his children, selflessly. Due to lack of writing skill I could not express my all feelings. But in that night I saw a parent, a father, who was ready to sacrifice everything. I learned that day, what love is. Don’t give up your parents. They are the one who loves you heartily. Earn money, make amusement with girls but try to keep your parent happy. They are the one who never demand anything for their own. I call you for their happy and respect. Don’t ever let them down.
