A captured soul...

Human and desire are very compatible. Both grow parallel along with age. The only truth in this mortal world is ‘DEATH’, but we hardly have the dare to face it. We are well aware of the truth. Since from the childhood we have been taught to speak and embrace the truth and to live with and die for only truth. Even though, at any state of affairs we are but we should not forget about the basics of life. Apart from this every living creature has been through two different stages, one is conscious and another is unconscious. The stage sub conscious has been treated as in minor stage.

In our books and scriptures it is mentioned about astral travel, is an interpretation of out-of-body experience, that assumes the existence of an "astral body" separate from the physical body and capable of traveling outside it. The idea of astral travel is rooted in common worldwide religious accounts of the afterlife, in which the consciousnesses or soul's journey or "ascent" is described in such terms as "an...Out-of body experience, wherein the spiritual traveler leaves the physical body and travels in his/her subtle body (or dream body or astral body) into ‘higher’ realms." It is therefore associated with near death experiences and is also frequently reported as spontaneously experienced in association with sleep and dreams, illness, surgical operations, drug experiences, sleep paralysis and forms of meditation.

Interestingly, one of my friends, have experienced of this art. His soul travels, when he is in sleep and only a few of us aware of this fact. One day morning, he had lost his conscious. We were called by his family. We were aware of his practices and attempting to make his family calm. Sooner, we became fainted. It was more than four hours, and he was out of conscious. He could breathe, but lost his conscious, which made us worried. Then, we called doctor and took him to hospital. Days have gone like years and eras but still he was asleep. On that day, doctor had declared him in coma. We were tensed and could not find what would be the reason for his state! He had not been out; neither had he a fight, nor any damage on body and all of the sudden he was in coma! We asked the doctor and he was clueless. We could not do other than waiting. We had been waiting and that was the fourth day... He came out from his room and asked his mother for breakfast. We were surprised, and he was behaving as if he didn’t know anything.

His mother ran to him and hugged and kissed everywhere. She could not control her tears and suddenly a sorrow environment turned into a celebration ground. His father announced a small party at his residence in that evening. But he was really unaware of the moments. We hugged him one by one. He might have felt as if a new born baby or a new animal in a zoo. Then that was my turn to hug him. I too did the same thing as all sheep did... he asked me, “Saale, kya ho raha hai! (Dude, what is going on?”

I said, “Welcome back man...” (With some filmy emotions)
Friend: What welcome back? Tu paagal ho gaya hai... (Are you nuts?)
Me: chhod naa yaar, tu waapas ho gaya hai wohi kaafi hai. Chal sham ko celebrate karte hain... (Let leave dude, you have returned that is enough. Let’s celebrate in the evening.)
Friend: Kya celebrate yaar... Actually, yeh ho kya raha hai... yeh rona dhona, yeh gale lagna, mujhe lagraha hai ki mein kisi aur ke ghar mein hun yaa meri vidai ho rahi hai... (What celebrate dude!!! Actually, what is going on! Crying, hugging... I feel as if I am in some other’s house or it is my farewell day)
Me: Means, dude... you have been in coma since four day....
Friend: What!!!
Me: Yes, you are...
Friend: Oh’ my... I thought I was dreaming and four days already have passed...
Me: What you were dreaming...
Friend: (Bellow my friend narrate his dream)

(As you know, my uncle from Ankleswar, had a party on last Monday. His niece was getting married. But, because of heavy workload I could not manage to attend that one. Papa and maa’ both can’t move without each other, you know how they are... and also you are aware of my love; Bhawana... She was there at that party. I was missing that event badly. Though, I was at the office but my mind was playing for her. That was marriage celebration and you know how the ladies are. They groom themselves really well and I won’t like to miss such a chance to see my princess.

When, at the night, I returned from the office with frustrated mind and chocked heart, asked maa’ not to disturb me. To keep me in peace, I did meditation and relaxed somehow. Then I took dinner with maa and papa. Again the marriage discussion had started and they broke my heart without notice. My maa said, “Rajesh, if you were there, you would have a chance to meet with Bhawana.” Those discussions were killing me, but I maintained silence and displayed my regular professional smile. Then papa said, “Bete, you don’t know... such parties are for ladies only. They look really pretty and you can’t stop your eyes to see them.” I looked at papa in an innocent manner. Then maa said, “Whatever that may be... My Bhawana would be looking the most prettiest among all. After all she is my daughter-in-law.” That was the Bramhastra... Maa again said, “Look son, I have told your father several time, to not to miss those functions, where Bhawana’s family also have invited. But your father...” then the fight started and which made me very upset. They were thinking about their daughter-in-law and missing her but they were not thinking about me. After all she would be their daughter-in-law, but she is my love. How could I miss such occasions!!! They won’t feel my feelings, so I finished my dinner and went to bed room, by wishing good night to everybody.

Then I slept but she did not let me sleep. She was traveling in my mind. I was guessing her dress, jeweleries, face, make-ups, lips, eyes... Mean while I slept and found myself at that party. There I able to search her. I felt her completely. She was awesome... with a red sari and matching classic jeweleries. She was looking like a nature, I felt only she was real with no make-up and others are natural. Though, that was a bride’s day but for me she was far ahead then the bride. I felt as if there were two brides. Her light brown eyes, pinkies lips which carried the pretty smile, a ring on her nose, deep dry path between mouth and nose, sexy ear rings and dark cloudy hairs, which shines a lot with full of ornaments on her beautiful neck attracts others with her personality. She was looking like a queen. Good height, slim waist with a golden strip, which made her alike of Goddess Lakshmi. Slow walk and gentle talk, which made her a celebrity for that night. I simply watched her and listened to her carefully. She was even more grace full, when she talks. I was feeling happy. She was not able to see me and I was enjoying a free, frank and peace nature.

By that time, she praised for mushroom curry. Then the time has come for her departure. She along with her parents left the place by wishing the newly wedded couple. During that session, I noticed her searching for me. At the end, during the time of departure, she asked about my family and our presence, which made me happier. My volume of love becomes a little dense. I was on ninth cloud, because she is also missing me and truly anxious to meet me. She and her mom sat on the car and the car ran on the road with a waving hand for her father. I did the same as they but the transport was different, mine was in dream.

By the time of return, I memorized her praise for mushroom curry and returned to the party. Between this, everything had finished and that was difficult for me to hunt that particular container. Finally, I reached at my target and went inside the container and started devouring. I was enjoying the taste too. Suddenly, her father came and closed the container with its lid. I did not find a way to come out from that container. And today, I came out because of those container owners. I thought this was my dream. When I wake up, I found you people doing drama.)

Me: Seriously man, it is fourth day. And how can someone capture you in a small container?
Friend: Ohh’ that was not my physical body. That was my soul. Sorry, I forget to mention.
Me: Nice story man. But that was a dream and you were out of sight for last four days.
Friend: If you believe, then believe. Or else leave the matter.
Me: Okay, for clarifications, let me ask you papa to call Bhawana’s family too for tonight’s celebrations. Here you will get a chance to meet her and I shall ensure about your truth.

At the night, when the party was at its peak, I went to Bhawana. She was among with the ladies and looking at Rajesh at regular interval with a timid note. I asked her about the mushroom curry and her wearing and she narrated the same, what Rajesh had already expressed. I shocked... We enjoyed the party and Rajesh got those moments in real, which he had missed on that day. He thanked me at last for my plan.

Then I believed, even at your conscious your soul can travel by keeping your body aside. Even you can travel on sky and galaxy too. What the ancient people and sages had said are true. We should learn those things and try to recover our golden period back.

Kaawaalaa... (Do you Need?)

This weekend I had been to Nagarjuna Sagar, a nearby tourist place from Hyderabad. The temperament of natural world is constantly beautiful and wonders me at its every instance. I was happy as always for the idyllic atmosphere and enchanted with the breeze, forest and lake obvious. I could listen to the music of nature very clearly and it was drifting me towards its deep pinnacle and I was following innocently. From the BUS STAND, I rush to a hotel without delay. I logged in, kept my baggage in safe then freshen up myself and took some food to fill the necessity of empty stomach. With my co-passerby (FRIEND), I returned to the nature back.

We both sat for a while, the zephyr passing through the water was breathtaking. I already have lost myself at our first interaction and now I was getting molested for my part. Sailing me on its each moment, I gladly wander here and there. The music from the lack, calling of forest and gentle wind were hypnotized me, the other factors like jingles from birds added the flavor. The setting sun was simply marvelous. The panorama was purely amazing. A golden dusk and blinking light haze were making my moments so nervous and forcing me to memorize a person whom I adore much. I excused from my friend and started walking along with the seducing puff. After a while I rang to my mother, spoke with her for some moment and explaining my happiness and the miraculous location. Then for some instance, I stood near the iron boundary with poking my head in between two bars of the boundary. I was inhaling the draught floating through the lake. Then I could not stop myself to call my siblings. First, I called my younger brother, who was alone at Hyderabad and then to my sister, who was watching daily soaps at Chennai by then. My sister transferred her handset to her husband, my brother-in-law. We both were in jolly discussion, I heard a noise then. Actually, that was an anonymous noise, which I made an intentional voice. The sound Kawala dropped in ear clearly and I turned back, with a surprised face, with continuous conversation over phone. That voice was too sweet and pleasant to hear, which had driven my attention away. But, the appearance was a different from the voice. A fair, average girl with flower in her hairs looked at me in a different look. She repeated the word “Kawala” again; I turned back with the surprised note and continued my previous actions.

I was disturbed. I found a space with grills, where I can poke my head inside bars and inhale the breeze from the water. I ended the talk, and in taking some heavenly air to refresh my brain. With no time from my conversation had over, I heard the voice “Kawalaa”... Though, I am an Odia, I could understand a little Telugu in my staying of over one year at Hyderabad. Kawalaa means, do you Need? I can never accept such type of thing from a lady, and that is too open and a good looking.

Lady: Kawalaa ?
Me: What... !!!
Lady: Kawalaa?
Me: Sorry, mujhe Telugu nahi aata! (I don’t know Telugu.)
Lady: Hindi...!
Me: Haan... (Yes)
Lady: Hona... (Required)
Me: Kya hona? (What...)
Lady: Entertainment...
Me: Na... na... (NO)
Lady: Kyun? (Why)
Me: Kyun matlab, mujhe nahi hona... (I spoke haphazardly... what do you mean? I don’t required)
Lady: Tum ghabrata kyun hai... (Why are you nervous?)
Me: Please, aap jaiye, mujhe nahi chahiye. (You go, I don’t need)
Lady: Daro mat, kuchh nahi hoga... (Don’t scared, nothing will go wrong)
Me: Aare aap jate ho ya mein jaaun... (Will you go or I will...)
Lady: Rs. 500/-
Me: No... Kuchh nahi... (Nothing else)

When I found her a little sticky, I just move ahead. I started walking and wanted to remove all those discussion from my brain. I had started inhale the cool wind from the lake and wandering at nature’s lane. At another point I stood up again to gaze the wave of the water and to explore the nature. Again I heard a voice...

Lady: A Mister...
Me: Tum fir se (you are again)
Lady: chalna... (Please come)
Me: Aap ka problem kya hai? Ek baar batane se samajh mein nahi aati! (What is your problem? Can’t you understand at once!)
Lady: Itna kyun bhaoo kyun kha raha hai... Aaj koi nahi hai, chal na. (Why do you so rude? No one is here today, please come)
Me: Ma’am, please mujhe parisaan mat karo. Mujhe nahi chahiye. (Please don’t disturb me, I don’t need)
For a while she kept silence. But, she did not let her hope, and stayed there for my words. She was continuously starring at me with her lust eyes. I broke the silence and asked,-
Me: Achha... kuchh problem toh nahi hoga naa... (okay, is it safe?)
Lady: Aare saab, mereko experience kis din kaam aayegi. Tum phikar nako karo. Kuchh nahi hoga. Khaali entertainment hoga. (My Lord, I am experienced and when it will worthy, you don’t worry, nothing will go wrong, we only will enjoy.)
Me: Achha, service kya hai... (What all the service you provides?)
Lady: sab kuchh... massage se leke gharwali tak... (Everything, starting from massage to your wife’s job.)
Me: Achha... Kahan? (Okay, where?)
Lady: Park mein... (In the park)
Me: Na na, khulla mujhse nahi hoga. (No, no. I can’t do it openly)
Lady: Toh mere ghar chalen... lekin uska 1000/- rupees lagega. (so, shall we go to my house, but it will cost you 1000 bucks)
Me: No no , 1000/- jyaada hai. (no, 1000 bucks are more)
Lady: Kitna doge? (How many will you give?)
(I was shocked, what have I done! I am not only talking with a prostitute but also bargaining for the same. How can I escape from this? At what rate, she will deny. Let me say for 300 bucks...)
Me: 300 rupay... (300 bucks)
Lady: No, bahut kam hai. 300 mein park chalen... (No, it is very little, shall we go to the park for 300 bucks)
Me: Na, mujhe khulla achha nahi lagta, ghar mein ho toh chalega. (I don’t like it out side, but at home I am okay)
Lady: Naa... ghar mein bahut kam hai... 700 rupay mein chalega. (No, for home it is less, if it is 700 bucks then I am okay)
Me: Dekho mere paas paisa nahi hai. (Look, I don’t have money)

The lady stood for a while then left the place. I relived. That could be a dangerous situation. But any how end well means all well. I had stand there for more half-an-hour, and then I remembered someone is waiting for me at a little distance. So, I decided to walk back to my friend. The story has not finished yet. While returning, I found that lady and her friend on my way again. Perhaps, she could not find any other customer by that time. I had slowed my speed and walked slowly. There was a big fat tree, and they were behind the trunk. I walked slowly, and I could notice her notice. She was looking at me with a flirtiest smile, as if she will kill me that day. Since she was there, and the big fat tree was there with two or three ‘Thele Wale’, I geared up my speed. Again, I could hear the voice... “A Mister” and that had gone little thicker with time and then the there were double voice... I was frightened. Very soon, the pitch of the voice became louder. My wrist was caught by someone. I looked back...

Me: what is your problem? Kyun mera haath pakda... (Why did you catch/hold my hand?)
Lady: Baabu, koi nahi hai... chal 300 rupay mein ghar ko chal te hain... (Dear, no one is here, let’s go for 300 bucks)
Me: Paagal ho gayi hai kya? (Have you gone mad?)
Lady: Dekho, mujhe gussa mat dilaao. Bhaao kiya, ab nahi aa raha hai... dekhti hun kaise jaata hai tu? (Look, don’t make me angry. You have bargained, and now escaping... let me see how can you go)
Me: Aap ko kya chahiye? Mera mood nahi hai... (What do you want, I am not in mood.)
Lady: Chal na main mood bana dungi... (Let’s go, I will make your mood.)
Me: Dekhiye, mujhe dar lagta hai... mujhe please maaf kijiye... (See, I am afraid. Please, forgive me)
Lady: Peheli baar hai? (Is it your first time?)
Me: nahi... magar aap se dar lagta hai. (No, but I am scared of you.)
Lady: Darne ki baat nahi hai, yeh toh mazza hai dost, tumhe mazza aayega. (Don’t worry, This is fun and you will enjoy for sure.)
Me: Mujhe mazza maarna nahi hai... (I don’t like to enjoy)
Lady: ADIS se darte ho? Daro nahi, hum puri safe ke saath karenge. ( Are you scared for ADIS? No worries, we will do it in safe.)
Me: Hello, mujhe chhodo... (Hello, leave me.)
Lady: kayeko bhaao khata hai, dekh aaj business nahi hai. Khali baitha hun... chal tere liye free mein ho aate hain. (Why are you so rude! See, there is no business today, don’t pay me, let’s have fun)
Me: Main kya lagaa aapko, kya main koi despo hun? Yaa koi stud? Mujhe nahi karna hai jaao. (What do you think of me? Am I desperate? Or am I a stud? I don’t want, go... in rude and shouted)

Then, I ran to an auto rickshaw driver and asked his help. She was following me by that time. The rickshaw man shouted at her and asked me to sit inside. I sat inside with no other option and he left the place with me. That lady was scolding at me and the autowala. But, any how I managed to escape. He dropped me at my hotel, and I thanked him and called my friend for my update. He came to hotel with a little late. I explained him about the situation and we both started laughing...

You tell me, how am I look like? Am I looking like a gentle man or something anti social person? That was really a question towards my attitude and aptitude. Friends, those who are aware of me please give me some comments on my character, I am confused... Was she right, what she meant to or am I simply a fool and innocent?

Give me KEYS

Every individual has its own strength of understanding, sometimes it may sail you on clouds or sometimes it may drag you a lot of embarrassment. We Indian, different by every mean and still united, integrated. We know only to spread love and brother-hood. I can remember a joke, posted on “Face book”, by one of my funny friends. It says...

“There is a conversation between an Indian and a British...
British: We have ruled more than Three Hundred Years, and looted you as well. We have murdered you during that time.
Indian: How could we forget, since you have committed mistake, we have been taking revenge by killing your language a millions of time in a day.”

We Indian, speaks and all the time it cause MTI “Mother Tongue Influence” problem. But any how we always manage to get the work done.

A new employee at the security, probably his first day in the office and an unforgotten story has happened.  Latter after the incident, I made him comfortable and found his fault. He is not so good in English, which made him to do that. And apart from that, our English ascent... that may win us all confusions.

My colleague, on that day went early and asks him for her locker ‘KEY’. Instead of asking in a full sentence, she asked give me KEYS. That poor boy, don’t understand that much of English. He looked at her in a surprise. She was in a hurry, and asked him for KEYS again...

Colleague: Bhaiya, Give me KEYS...
Security Boy: Looked in puzzled... He doesn’t understand, what was going on!
Colleague: In a hurry, give me KEYS...
Security Boy: Looked his both side, no one was coming. He again saw her in surprised.
Colleague: Shouted, Yaar, mere paas time nahi hai, mera lead aata hi hoga, jaldli give me KEYS. (I am running after time. The Lead will come soon; I have to finish the task. Give me KEYS.) She went to up for a coffee.
Security Boy: Kya hogaya hai logon ko, saali na zaan na pehchaan, KISS maang rahi hai. Kya main itna achha hun... Pata nahi, naaraaz hoke chaligayi lagta hai. Sayad meri complaint kardegi. Aaj toh join hua tha kya aaj hi naukari chali jaayegi? Agar phir se woh maang ti hai toh main turant degunaga. Waise dikhne mein toh Heroine jaise lag rahi hai, aisi kya Gandhi aadat hai, security ke saath, KISS!!! Sayad Body Guard movie kaa asar hai. Sallu bhai aap hazar saal ziyo!!! Achha hua yaar, aapna bhi waqt achhese kat jayega.
(What has happened to people? I am unknown to her and she is asking for a KISS!!! Am I handsome! Perhaps she got angry and might register a complaint against me!!! I may lose my first job. If she asks me one more time, I will KISS her with no delay. She is looking like a Heroine and such a bad habit! A KISS with security might be inspired from Salman’s Body Guard. Long live Sallu bhai. It is good for me and a good time ahead.)

My colleague with a cup of coffee in hand, asking for the same thing, “give me ‘KEYS’”.

This time the security stood up at his place. Came near to my colleague and posed for a KISS. My colleague shocked and made a step back. Now, she smiled and looked every sight of the office. Then she posed him for KEY, like the deaf and dumb. And then the boy made his apology and conveys his poor English skill and also request to not complaint before anybody. And finally my colleague got her KISS.

When she shared the incident during lunch, we could not stop laughing. I went to the poor guy and to know about his actual concern, but he was innocent and what had happened that was his fear and innocence. I thought it is better to share with you. Hope you would like it.

A Small Story

“Believe is the world, and faith is God.”

Before getting into the fact, let us travel in a story. There was a small but beautiful pond situated at the corner of the countryside.  The pond had contained lots of trees and pampas with flower plants around the whole pond. A very old banyan tree was also there, which was a silent witness of all the incidents. Accidents and moments went on in the countryside.  The tree was old and strong. From the bottom of the tree one cannot see the sky. Previously, it was a home for many birds and animals. Passerby also was preferred that place for their rest.  It was hard to find its main trunk, because the aerial prop root was grown up like the main trunk. Like other birds and animals, two small birds had their nest on that tree. They were true friends. They never cheat another. They were friendly and co-operatives. There was a wild cat in that countryside. Nobody loved that. Once the wildcat saw those birds and made a plan to make the birds as its prey. The birds were clever. They have never slept at a time. They were taking rest by one after another, because of their temperament the wildcat visage difficulty.  The wild cat had attempted to clutch those little creatures, but failed repeatedly. That had not lost its endurance and hanged around for a chance.
One day, out of those two birds, one went in search of food where as the other one stayed at the nest. The wildcat followed the flying bird. The bird went a distance and did not get food. After crossing a mile away, the bird got something to eat. As that had traveled a lot it got hungry. Hence, it firmed to eat something, before taking the food for its friend. The bird started eating and those were under the surveillance of the wildcat. The wildcat did not let pass the juncture and scampered in the direction of another bird. The wildcat discovered itself in front of the banyan tree after a short of time. That found the bird was waiting for its associate. The cat said, ‘what a fool are you?’ to the bird. ‘Your friend is enjoying its food where as you are sitting hungry.’ The bird could not believe the cat. However, the clever cat manipulated and forced the bird to fly near to the river. The bird exposed that another bird was drinking water after its food. The bird got angry and the cat took advantage of the circumstances. The cat built friendship with the angry bird and created distance between those two birds. One day, another bird was in sleep. The angry bird allowed the wildcat to kill his friend. The bird come, killed the sleepy innocent bird, and jumped on the angry bird too. The angry bird terrified and said, ‘I am your friend and I allow you to kill that bird not me. What are you doing this? Leave me.’ The cat laughed and said you had no belief in your friend then how could I believe you? Then the wild cat killed the angry bird too.
It is extremely tricky to pal in this state of affairs. If you have, any then do not hurt him and incredulity him. If any qualm arises then ask him at once without any medium. A medium always creates fissure in believe and faith. Hence, never do that unless you will have to stay alone or may fall in problems in the crowd.

Relation

When we like somebody, his/her nature hardly matters. We always ready to do anything for his/her behalf. That is love and there a relationship grows.

Sun is yet to rise. Birds are about to leave their nest. It is not fully dark but it is not visible too. People are still sleepy and so as other animals. Alarm is not yet ringed and so as the Rooster. It is neither the morning nor the dawn. It is before the dawn and everywhere is calm.

At the end of the village, Ravi opened his gate and came out with the net. Ravi is one month old in this village and nobody knows about his past. Since, last one month, with the help of village headman, he has been teaching the students in the school as well as in the tuition. What made him to get up so early and that to with a net, it seems strange. He is walking towards the lake near by the village.

He has caught some fish and before morning, reached at the market. He has to sell all the fish before 10 AM. He enquired the price and started selling fish. Raghu, a person from the same village, came to purchase the fish, because they are expecting some guests by this afternoon. He saw Ravi, both are teaching in the same school, and shocked initially. He straightly went to Ravi and thought to purchase two kg instead of one KG. He is having the money for only one kilo and requested Ravi to provide him two kilo and rest of the money he will pay later. But, Ravi, a pakka businessman, denied. Ravi said, ‘I have not started selling one of the fish yet and you are asking for credit. No credit please. If you have money than take the quantities or else find the next shop.’ Raghu, has not been to any other shop, he purchased one kg from his friend and returned to home.

Ravi has initiated his business. He is the only fish seller in that market. He is expecting to sell his entire fish before time. He has a good start for the day. After sometime, he has about six to seven kg left in his basket, he is happy. The police inspector arrived with his bike and asked Ravi to weight the entire left fish. It is seven kg. Ravi is asked to pack those fish for the inspector and he does as directed. Ravi is happy. He has sold the entire fish before the predicted time. He is watching to the face of police inspector with a smile and waiting for his money. The inspector, started his bike and gone away. Ravi was speechless. It was seven kg, five hundred rupees.

Ravi is doing hard and applying all his skill to become a rich person. His new business is running very nicely since a week. After a week, again a police came and took five kg of fish in the name of the police inspector, without paying a single penny. That happened for three times more. Ravi has lost his patience. The inspector has blocked his twenty five hundred rupees. The next day of the business, the police arrived and asked for five kg of fish. Ravi denies and asks him to clear the credit first. The police convey the same message to the inspector and return to Ravi. He said, ‘saheb tujhe bula rahe hain.’ (Inspector wants to meet you.) Ravi becomes happy. He will get his money.

Soon he arrives in the police station; the inspector beat him hard and put inside the bar by saying saale you need money. I am taking money from each and other and you are asking money from me. I got a complaint that you are selling rotten fishes. Many people became ill by your fish. Now, stay inside the bar and collect the money.

After sometime, the police came and opened the gate. He saw Raghu with the village headman. They spoke to the inspector and release him. Ravi realizes and felt ashamed for that day, when Raghu begged him for two kg of fish and he denied. It is Raghu again, who saved him from the police. He is a true friend. A friend in need is a friend indeed.
